About Annamarie

Annamarie Lamelza is an American author of children’s books. She developed her love for writing at an early age in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, bringing to life with pen and paper the observations of experiences of her childhood, family, and friends. Annamarie creates and tells the story to enlighten a child’s imagination while instilling the importance of honesty, loyalty, and trust.

For nearly five decades, Annamarie has worked with children sharing her creative talent. Through Street Warriors, she expanded her philanthropic desire to promote children’s welfare by working with inner-city children in Charlotte, North Carolina. Annamarie continued her work with several other organizations, like Salvation Army, Adopt a Cop, and Samaritan’s Purse. She received numerous awards, including the gold literary award.

Annamarie currently serves on the board of Single Christianity and consults for media organizations such as Incend Media. She currently resides in the suburbs of Charlotte, North Carolina.
